To determine what size you need to order you will need to do one
or all of the following.
1. If you have central air conditioning, go out and read the Model Number on the
out door unit. Call an HVAC company in your area and find out what size you
have. Then using our chart, below check the "Tons of Air Conditioning"
area follow that line to the left and order that Model Number air cleaner.
2. If you can't determine your air conditioning size, or if you
don't have central air conditioning, read the Model Number of your furnace, call
an HVAC company in your area and find out how many tons of air conditioning your
furnace is capable of. Again go to our chart and follow the same guidelines as
in step # 1.
3. If neither of these first (2) options can be used, then shut
the main power off to your furnace and open the blower door of your furnace.
Measure the existing return air opening that is already cut out on your furnace.
Using this information, compare it to the closest return cut out opening in our
chart. Follow that line to the left and order that air cleaner.

* CFM = Cubic Feet of Air Per Minute. If you have central air conditioning
this figure represents how much air can flow through the air cleaner. Each ton
of air conditioning needs 400 C.F.M.
** Internal Pressure switch = Honeywell has a built in switch to NOT let the
air cleaner work unless the furnace blower is running. This feature keeps from
making Ozone which has an odor and can make a person irritable. You can also run
the furnace blower continuously by selecting the "ON" position on your
thermostat if you have central air conditioning, therefore cleaning your air all
the time.
